In May 2025, a delegation representing the governmental bodies responsible for administering the funding allocated through the Swiss Fund undertook an official visit to Hungary. The visit had a dual purpose: to conduct a comprehensive review of the 2024 performance during the annual meeting, and to carry out site visits to locations benefiting from the Swiss Fund’s financial contributions.

On the same day, the official inauguration of the programme dedicated to supporting “Minorities and Disadvantaged Social Groups” was held. Moreover, at Andrássy University, the Head of Delegation delivered a keynote presentation as part of the university’s Swiss Contribution-supported project. The day’s proceedings were complemented by a reception hosted jointly by the Swiss Ambassador and the university’s senior leadership.
On 8 and 9 May, the delegation conducted site visits to several rural locations in Hungary, meeting with beneficiaries of projects supported by the Swiss Contribution, thus they took official visits to Pécs, Bóly, Sásd, and Mezőcsát.
