Amendments to the Regulation and the Implementation Decree

The Swiss authorities have revised the Regulation* for the second Swiss Contribution, which has been in force since 6 May 2022, and which contains the general rules and procedures for implementation.

The amendments entered into force on 9 March 2026, and, apart from a few technical corrections, mainly concern the deadlines for closing support measures and also apply to support measures currently in progress.

On 6 March 2026, Government Decree 563/2022. (XII. 23.) on the implementation of the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Program II. (Implementation Decree) also came into force: the amended deadlines of the Regulations and the proposals formulated by certain actors of the Swiss Fund institutional system and the available professional experience were incorporated, and the provisions on state aid were updated.
