Study trip of Swiss students at the National Ambulance Service
In the framework of the SM08-NAS ‘Improving life-saving skills’ project of the Second Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme, a Swiss delegation of 7 apprentices and 2 adults has visited the National Ambulance Service today, whom have been greeted by Gábor Csató MD, General Director and his team.
The primary aim of the project is improving the first aid skills of the population by which more and more laypersons will be able – and have the courage – to render first aid until the ambulance arrives. The long-term goal of the project is to create first aid education networks in order to save lives and prevent long-term health damage.
At the headquarters of the Project Operator, the visitors got an insight into the professional content and main milestones of the project. After the presentation, the participants took part in a situation-simulation demonstration.
