The Improving Life-saving skills project of the National Ambulance Service is part of this year’s family events organized by the Hungarian Post
We are delighted to announce that the National Ambulance Service's Life Saving Skills Development project will be taking part in this year's Hungarian Post family events, the multi-site Postal Picnic. The first joint outing in Pécs at the end of May was a very positive experience for the project host staff.
The series of family events continued in Budapest at Kincsem Park on June 14th, and this Saturday, they’ll meet again the postal workers and their families in Miskolc.
The aim of the programme is to bring the basics of first aid – especially CPR – closer to all age groups in a way that’s both fun and educational. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone got involved: some filled out quizzes, others practiced the steps of CPR hands-on. The semi-automated defibrillator drew particular interest – many were curious about how it works and when and how to use it.
These events also serve as meeting points between the Master Trainers and the future postal instructors of the project, who, after completing their training, will begin teaching lifesaving skills to their colleagues.
Many thanks for the warm welcome, the excellent locations, and the openness – and above all, for the genuine interest in how to save lives! The next stop of the family day and the project's presentation will be the DVTK pitch in Miskolc on 28 June. See you soon!
